About Mercedes

Mercedes Blair,

Photographer

Hi, I'm Mercedes :) I'm a 27 year old amateur photographer originally from Brantford, Ontario and moved to Bass River, Nova Scotia when I was 9. I am very happy I did in order to have such beautiful scenery to photograph everywhere I go!

I've always enjoyed taking photos but didn't truly develop a passion for it until 3 years ago when I finally decided to get a DSLR camera. I started spending hours almost daily adventuring with my companion and best friend Jazzy taking photos of mostly sunrises and sunsets at the beach/lighthouse on Wharf Rd in Bass River. After sharing photos to my Facebook and getting so many compliments from friends, I started my photography page on Facebook and things took off from there.

I have been so lucky to receive the support that I have from my followers on Facebook. I never expected for my photography to become so popular, I am still in shock sometimes!

Thank you so much for all the continued support and I hope to inspire others to do what you love and put yourselves out there. You never know what will happen :)
